ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds on occasion, and stand for extended

Technician
Entry level position to perform utility and property
research, archiving, CADD work, and other miscellaneous tasks. Ideal
candidates should have some knowledge of surveying and AutoCAD, but we
are willing to train the right individual.
GIS
Specialist
We
have an immediate opening for a GIS specialist. The main
responsibilities include providing GIS support for existing and future
engineering, planning and environmental projects. The work includes data
development, GIS analysis, map making and maintaining spatial database
records. An excellent salary and benefits package is available.
Job
Requirements
Applicants should have a degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science,
Environmental Science or a related field and a minimum of 1 year data
editing/analysis experience using ESRI ArcGIS suite (8.3 and later).
Work experience in VBA scripting, ArcIMS, GPS and/or related
technologies is a plus. Other requirements include good general computer
skills (Windows, MS Office incl. Access and Excel), the ability to work
well with project managers and field staff, as well as good
communication and analytical skills. Background in natural resource
management a plus.
Must
have experience with ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.x, Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst,
ArcView 3.x, and AutoCAD. Experience with Oracle and SQL is highly
desirable.
Experience programming or developing script-based routines for any of
the above software or software languages also a plus
Markets the firm’s
capabilities within the GIS specialty to establish new clients and
enhance relationships with existing clients. Prepares proposals for
potential projects.
