Senior Traffic Engineer/Planner, Braintree

An immediate opening for a Senior Traffic Engineer Transportation Planner to function as a team leader and project manager on small and large scale land development projects.  The selected individual must be able to lead traffic impact assessment, design roadway improvements including signal design and develop management strategies.  Tasks will include all preliminary project planning of traffic projections, capacity analysis, intersection and corridor improvement design, signalization and working with County and transportation agencies.

The position requires a minimum of a degree from an accredited four-year college or university, ITE membership and a P.E. license in Massachusetts, a minimum of ten years proven experience in traffic and transportation issues related to land development.  A graduate degree is a plus.  Business development and communications skills are a must.  Working in multi-disciplinary land development teams is an important part of the position.

The position reports directly to the President, and for the right person, who can develop a larger transportation practice, the position could lead to Director of Transportation Services.
